Jiji Online Marketplace Kenya Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Kenya (with registered office at Apollo Centre, Ring Road, P.O. Box 764, 00606, Sarit Centre, Nairobi, Kenya) will be the controller of your personal data.

2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We collect data you give us voluntarily (for example, email address; first and second name). We also may receive data about you from third parties (for example, when you sign in via Facebook).
  • 2.1 Data you give us
    To create an Account, we will ask you to provide your name, email address and create a password. If you decide to get a certificate after successful completion of the educational course, we will ask you to provide your first and second name.

  • 2.2 Data provided by third parties
    When you use sign in with Apple to register an account in the Service, we get personal data from your Apple ID account. This data may include, in particular, your name and verified email address. You may choose to share your real email address or an anonymous one that uses the private email relay service. Apple will show you their detailed privacy information on the sign in with Apple screen.     When you decide to log in using Facebook, we get personal data from your Facebook account. This includes your profile image, name, and Facebook ID. Unless you opt out on the Facebook Login screen, we will also collect other data, such as email address.

    When you decide to log in using Google, we receive personal data from your Google Account: name, email address, profile picture associated with your Google Account.     When you decide to log in using Linkedin, we receive personal data from your Linkedin Account: name, email address, profile picture associated with your Linkedin Account.   • 2.3.3 Advertising IDs
    We collect your Apple Identifier for Advertising (“IDFA”), Identifier for Vendor (“IDFV”) or Google Advertising ID (“AAID”) (depending on the operating system of your device) when you access our Website from a mobile device. This enables us to better understand what features and sections of Jiji our users like more, what categories of users use our Service. As a consequence, we often decide how to improve course materials based on the results obtained from this processing. For example, if we discover that Jobs section is not as popular as others, we may focus on improving it.

  • online course platform provider (Learnworlds, which hosts our course website and provides the infrastructure for delivering educational content)
